2Verify is a service that you can use to monitor your website/servers and send you
Alarms when errors are found. This allows yours to react to server problems quickly and minimize website/server
downtime.
Monitoring
You can configure 2Verify to watch web servers (serving web pages), mail servers, and other servers that are accessable
over
the Internet at regular intervals. A variety of tests are available to meet the needs of specific server types and
needs. Such tests include the following:

Web (HTTP) - Visits and examines the contents
of a given web page.

POP3 (Email) - Interacts with and tests the
functionality of a POP3 mail server.
|
|
|
SMTP (Email) - Interacts with and tests the
functionality of a SMTP mail server.
|
|
|
DNS (Domain Name Server) - Accesses the server
and tests queries for particular domain name resolutions.
|
|
|
IMCP (Ping) - Pings the server and tests its
response time. |

Alarms
When an error is found, 2Verify sends you Alarms to notify you of the problem. These Alarms
are sent by email and can be address to cell phones, pagers, and email accounts.
Remotely Hosted And Managed
2Verify is hosted and managed entirely by 2Verify. That means there is no software for you to install, no
servers to configure, and no one to dedicate to managing the Monitors. This also that there are no hidden
costs for the service in terms of technical operation, hardware, or bandwidth. With 2Verify, you simply
create Monitors and Alarms that you want, and your servers can now be monitored. |
