Below is information on how to determine the email address of your cell
phone and/or pager.
AT&T Wireless Devices
For AT&T Wireless devices, the email address of the device is the phone number followed by
"@mobile.att.net". For example, if the phone number of the device were "(123)
456-7890", the email address would be "1234567890@mobile.att.net".
Cingular Devices
If your Cingular device has it's service out of the following states, the email address for the device
is the phone number followed by "@mobile.mycingular.com":
Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland,
Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma,
Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas (except Houston), Virginia, Washington DC, West
Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
For example, if your service is out of one of the states above and your phone number is "(123)
456-7890", the email address would be "1234567890@mobile.mycingular.com".
However, if your Cingular device has it's service out of one of the states below, the email address for the device
is the phone number followed by "@mobile.mycingular.net" (notice that it is ".net" instead
of ".com"):
Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee,
and Houston Texas.
For example, if your service is out of one of the states above and your phone number is "(123)
456-7890", the email address would be "1234567890@mobile.mycingular.net".
NEXTEL Devices
For NEXTEL devices, the email address of the device is the phone number followed by
"@messaging.nextel.com". For example, if the phone number of the device
were "(123) 456-7890", the email address would be "1234567890@messaging.nextel.com".
T-Mobile Devices
For T-Mobile devices, the email address of the device is the phone number followed by
"@tmobile.net". For example, if the phone number of the device
were "(123) 456-7890", the email address would be "1234567890@tmobile.net".
Verizon Wireless Devices
For Verizon Wireless devices, the email address of the device is the phone number followed
by "vtext.com". For example, if the phone number of the device were
"(123) 456-7890", the email address would be "1234567890@vtext.com".
Other Devices
Most wireless devices that are capable of text messaging can receive email messages. If the
provider of your wireless service is not listed above, please refer to their technical support to
determine its email address. |
