Technical Spec
2Verify's technical specifications are detailed below.

Monitors
Monitors can be run on a frequency of one, five, or fifteen minutes.  Response times can be set to best match the performance requirements of the given server.  The type of Monitors include the following:

HTTP (web) - Visiting web pages and verifying that they are loading correctly.

SMTP (mail server) - Accessing and testing the operation of email functionality.

POP3 (mail server) - Accessing and testing the operation of email functionality.

DNS (domain name server) - Accessing the server and testing queries for particular domain name resolutions.

IMCP (ping) - Pinging servers and verifying responses.

Alarm Contacts [?]
2Verify's Alarms are sent via email, which makes it possible to receive error messages on most cell phones and pagers.  Available error message formats include short (typically for cell phones and pagers) and long (which may be preferred for sending error messages to web email accounts).  Alarm Contacts can be configured to only be sent between a range of hours on any given day (such as 9am to 5pm), and can be configured to only be sent after the given error has gone unresolved for a specified period of time (which might be preferred for a manager who does not directly administer the given server).

Reporting
Availability reporting on an account basis are available for periods back from the current date and time of 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months.  Availability summaries are available via email on a daily and weekly basis.
